Don’t forget to remember what’s important

Being on the go constantly can be exhausting! Physically, mentally and emotionally! Being on that never-ending hamster wheel going at it 300mph 24/7 can easily distract you and make you lose sight of what’s important.

We work to live after all don’t we? Or maybe you feel lately you live to work?

How much living are you actually doing?

Is there any life in the old dog or is it just existing?

Maybe take a step back, put things into perspective and who knows the changes you could make to ensure you’re living your life to the fullest!

Life really is too short

Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed so it is worth taking time out of your busy schedule to evaluate what areas in your life you’re focusing all of your time and your energy. None of us are getting any younger and nobody wants to be haunted by what if’s! Grab that loved one whoever it may be, hold them close. Take the trip to that once in a lifetime location. Start learning a new language. Whatever it is,  make the most out of the time you have and don’t waste time regretting.

Family and friends matter the most.

If you are fortunate to be blessed with either then you should know how truly lucky you are. In the grand scheme of things, these are the most valuable gifts you will ever possess. These are the people who you, ultimately, share your life with and the only people who will be there to support you. These are the relationships that need nurtured always. And to the parents out there, don’t forget to show your children how much you love them – to them you are everything! Spend time with them now as they don’t stay little for long then before you know it, they will be all grown up in that big wide world just as you are now. Spending quality time with family is the best time, go on, bring out your inner child!

Make every moment count.

Feel like you’re spending too much time worrying about the past or thinking about the future? You need to live in the now! Although you feel it might matter a great deal, you can’t change your past you can only shape your future. A great excuse to start loving the life you’re living now! So it all matters now! Make it count!

Reach for the stars

Make sure you shine bright! Find your purpose in life and aim high no matter what. It could be a job, education or even charity or volunteer work. When you are doing what you enjoy you will always do it well. What are you waiting for?

I think we can all agree that we do only live once, well, for now as it stands in 2019. As humans we are yet to find the fountain of youth, build an actual time machine and/or bring people back from the dead. So the best thing for us to do right now is to make the most of the time we’ve got and make what we want to happen, happen. Take that risk, fall in love or dance like nobody’s watching. Do what makes YOU happy!
